The curved screen will not come to the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7)

Galaxy Note 5 Cover

Waiting for the name to be finally discovered Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (which could be called Galaxy Note 7 to match the rest of the high-end, and thus have the same numbering), information has been known about this model that is important: finally there will not be a variant with a curved screen, in the purest Edge style.

For some time now, there has been speculation about this possibility, something that seems interesting to many but, to others, not so much due to the use of the S Pen. And, the truth is that I am on the side of the seconds, since on the one hand finding space to store the stylus can jeopardize the design and, on the other, its use in the curvature does not seem to be optimal. The case is that it seems that the inclusion of a curved panel on its two sides it does not seem that it is finally part of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6.

Of course, it should not be forgotten that it has been known for some time that there will be two versions of the high-end phablet of the Korean company (the models with the SM-N930 nomenclature, if nothing changes), so we have to hope that there will be two versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 which are put into play. Are they could be differentiated by the processor or, perhaps, by the screen size. This last possibility would be the most appropriate, since if 5,7 and 6-inch models are put into play, more market is covered and it faces what other manufacturers offer in its market segment -such as Huawei-.

In August?

This could be another of the novelties that would be part of the new range Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7). We say this because there are several sources that indicate that August 2 could be the day chosen for the new phablets to be official (not at the IFA fair in early September). So much so, that it has been published that in the month of July the manufacturing process will begin and, therefore, the most summery month that exists would be the one chosen to anticipate the arrival of the phablet - and, in this way, win by the hand to its competition.

Be that as it may, it seems that the curved screen will not be the game in the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, and everything appears to me a certain one, since the usability would be very questionable if we talk about the stylus. In addition, this model does not need this type of panel to be different, because it already is because it includes the S Pen and all its excellent options when using it. Does this seem like a success too?

Quasi has saddened me this news. Samsung just does that subtract (see FM, IRD…). I am a lucky owner of an SG NOTE EDGE and I have to say that it will be difficult for me to do without the curve, the stylus or both. Would it cost an S7 so much to get it up to 5'8 ″, add radio and infrared and a pencil? It would be the repera.

I agree with what they write on the page, a stylus AND a curved screen do not match, that's what the Galaxy S 6 or 7 is for.
