The HTC One 2014 will also come in a Google Play Edition version

The Nexus 5 could have been the last smartphone released under the Google brand. And it seems that more and more terminals are arriving in the form of a Google Play Edition version. In recent months, the Soy Xperia Z Ultra and LG G Pad 8.3 have been added to that list. However, we won't have to wait long for the next one, which will be the 2014 HTC One.

Without a doubt, it is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, and one of the components of the Big Three of the month of April, sharing the limelight with the Sony Xperia Z2 and the Samsung Galaxy S5. However, the fact that this will also be released in a Google Play Edition version, may tip the balance in your favor. If there is something that many Android users do not like, it is the customizations made by the manufacturers of the firmware versions that the different terminals carry. And yes, it is true that high-end phones always have very neat ROMs and with many functions that usually work well, but even so, many would appreciate that they did not take anything additional to what Google already installs.

Well, that will happen in the case of the HTC One 2014, because not only will the standard version of the phone be launched, but also the Google Play Edition version, which will be sold only in the official store of the Mountain View company, on Google Play. The confirmation of the existence of the terminal comes from @evleaks, so we can assume that, in effect, there will be a Google Play Edition version of the new HTC One 2014. Hopefully, yes, this version will also be released in Spain, as we have seen previously, it has not always happened with the Google Play Edition.
