The Nokia MView, the Android smartphone, is still alive

Nokia Android

That Nokia was going to launch an Android smartphone was something that everyone knew. That it would never come after Microsoft buying the company also seemed like a no-brainer. However, what is unexpected is that the nokia mview still be a smartphone that is alive and in the pipeline.

But we don't want you to get excited so fast. I wish we could say that it is a smartphone that they are going to launch soon. But no, in reality it is most likely that it will never reach the market, since the cancellation of this project is provided promptly. However, it is strange that they have not canceled the project yet.

Perhaps the real reason is that they do not want to know right now about the existence of a group working on this project, as that would show that, indeed, Nokia was determined to bet on Android next year. Referring workers to other departments and firing the rest within a few months is much better in order to avoid the knowledge of this information. On the other hand, the fact that the working group was operating in China could also make us think that what they did not want was for Microsoft to know that they were preparing new Android smartphones while launching terminals with Windows Phone. Be that as it may, everything seems to indicate that even still, they are creating a new Android phone, the Nokia MView. By the way, as indicated in Engadget, MView probably comes from Mountain View, the place where Google's main offices are based.

Foxconn manufactured 10.000 units

The Nokia MView is not a typical smartphone. It is a terminal with Android but with very basic specifications, typical of the cheapest terminals with the Google operating system. And it is that, it was going to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, which although it is quad-core, has a very basic Cortex-A5 architecture. And it is not a terminal in project only, but 10.000 units of it have already been manufactured. Foxconn has been the factory in charge of producing these units, and everything seems to indicate that the manufacturing process is not going to stop. Apparently, until Microsoft officially and legally acquires Nokia, they will not stop manufacturing them, so it is possible that back in November, when the signing will take place, there will already be many Android smartphones manufactured. They will never be released, and are likely to be destroyed, but it is funny that the Nokia with Android has come so close to being a reality.

Well, the other way around, I changed my android for a lumia 920 and the last wp that I buy, something as simple as a file manager does not have, I download a video from any app and I have to enter that app to be able to see it because neither share it because On the phone it does not exist, in addition to the Apps that seem to have been done all in half an hour except for Nokia, but it is very fluid.

hi, i like wp, but we all know that if nokia uses android it would sell more,
that is undeniable. and also wp is very good and fluid, but it lacks something, apps, and from jelly bean android it is as stable as wp, and I know because apart from my lumia I use an android tablet. 🙂 I am a Nokia fan, and I think about the future of Nokia, I liked it when I was independent, greetings

As a Nokia and WP user for more than a year I think I would never go to a Nokia with Android. If I want an android, I buy a Samsung or an LG, which is not the case.
