Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Note 3 with Snapdragon receive Android 5.0 Lollipop

We finally have news from Android Lollipop 5.0 for the European Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (and also the Galaxy Note 3). Although the tests with this operating system began very recently in places like Russia where the terminals have an Exynos chip, Samsung has finally released this new version of Android for the European terminals with Snapdragon processor, great news although for now, it has not reached Spain.

Just a few days ago we indicated that the terminals Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Europeans started receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, this update had a small nuance: it was only available for terminals with an Exynos processor, the one manufactured by Samsung itself. Well, this fact began to give us clues as to when the long-awaited update would arrive on our devices (SM-N910F) and finally, today, we have learned that the update has begun to be released for devices with Snapdragon.

As pointed out in SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has received its share of Lollipop in countries like Romania, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the United Kingdom and Poland. On the other hand, the terminal that “interests us the most”, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, have you seen the update only in Germany. This region is normally the one that receives European updates first, so it is to be expected that within just a few days (and if we hurry, a few hours) it will begin to reach other European countries.

One of the curiosities that this new update wheel leaves is that the Galaxy Note 3 will be updated to Android 5.0 while Note 4 will reach 5.0.1, so it is foreseeable that in a short period of time Samsung will decide to offer the latter also to Note 3 users (remember that Android 5.0 is one of the known versions with more bugs). The update, according to users, brings certain changes based on Material Design, but the bulk of the operating system has not been altered, offering a Touchwiz similar to the one we enjoy in Android 4.4.2.
