The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Plus would have better batteries

Samsung Galaxy S6 Cover

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a good smartphone. The battery it has is not high capacity, it is only 2.550 mAh, little for a flagship. Even so, the autonomy of the smartphone is good, although it would be better with a battery of more capacity. Well, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S7, and its variant, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus, would have even better batteries.

Higher capacity batteries

The autonomy of the Samsung Galaxy S6 with a 2.550 mAh battery is good, because it is actually a battery with very little capacity compared to the batteries of other smartphones. Take into account, for example, that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, which is a mid-range mobile, has a 4.000 mAh battery. Even so, as we say, the energy efficiency of the Exynos 7420 processor is good, so in the end the autonomy is that of a high-end mobile that is Samsung's flagship. However, the battery of the new Samsung Galaxy S7 will be improved, or so the latest data says.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Cover

Specifically, there is talk of a 3.000 mAh battery for the Samsung Galaxy S7, which would have a screen similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S6, 5,1 inches, so the autonomy should improve, although it is possible that the Exynos processor 8890 consume more power. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus, the version with a 5,5-inch screen, would consume more battery, logically, since the screen is the component that consumes the most energy. In this case, the battery would become 3.600 mAh, so the autonomy of the smartphone should be even better than that of the Samsung Galaxy S7, and more when we do not use the smartphone much and do not turn on the screen much.

It seems likely that the curved screen versions, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, would have the same battery as the standard screen versions. In the case of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge the difference was not very noticeable (only 50 mAh), so it will not be something especially relevant.

In any case, the Samsung Galaxy S7, as well as all the variants of it that will be launched, will be presented next month, probably on February 20, and it will be then when the definitive technical characteristics that these smartphones will have will be confirmed.

But how is the new exynos going to consume more energy than last year, are we going to be like crabs?

How will it consume more if it is optimized, it shows that you do not know about this aspect
