Along the same lines, today we inform you that the Japanese firm is working on an update for the Sony Xperia S and Sony Xperia SL, which could be ready in the short-medium term.
Confirmation of the future arrival of this new firmware comes from the company itself, since through its official support forum they have announced that the solution to a problem with ActiveSync will come hand in hand with a "next update for the phone, with the version number 6.2.B.1.xx".
Unfortunately still exact date for release unknown of the new firmware, in the same way that we still do not know if the family Xperia S will also be updated to Android 4.3 Jellybean as recently announced Sony what will you do with the spectrum Xperia Z.

xperia s with android 4.3 JA JA JA let's keep dreaming ...
xD we are satisfied with Jelly bean that we have but without bugs and working at 100% U_u
i would like my xperia s. Take photos in 3d again, film correctly in full hd, copy paste in texts and that the whites of the photos are not purple. I don't care if it's 4.3 or higher, what's more, if they let me go back to 4.0, with everything I could do before, I'll do it now! my terminal is free from the factory, and my next terminal will surely be free too; but i highly doubt it's sony. It really seems to me an unnecessary manipulation that this company is doing with its users in Argentina. I would very much regret leaving the brand; I hope the updates arrive that will get the most out of this phone again
