Update to Android 7.0 Nougat for the LG G4

Android 7.1 Nougat

The LG G4 now updates to Android 7.0 Nougat. This is great news for users, since it did not seem confirmed that the mobile was going to update to the new version of the operating system. Now it is official, users are already updating their smartphones, and the availability of it in Spain is imminent.

Updating the operating system for the LG G4 to Android 7.0 Nougat

It was never confirmed that the LG G4 would officially update to the new version of the operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat. Actually, it is no longer the new version, since the new version of the operating system would be Android O. However, since Android O is not yet officially available, it can be said that Android 7.0 Nougat is the latest version.

Android 7.1 Nougat

It was also not stated that the LG G4 would not update to the new version.. However, the fact that news of the update to Android 7.0 Nougat did not arrive, could actually mean that the mobile would not update to that version, and that the last update you would have received would be to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Also, when Android 6.0 Marshmallow was released, many smartphones did not receive an update until the following year, but the LG G4 did receive the update the same year it was released, in 2015. It might seem logical that with Android 7.0 Nougat still on the market. 2017 there was no news of the update release for the LG G4, it is because perhaps it was no longer going to be officially released.

However, some users with the LG G4 are already receiving the update to Android 7.0 Nougat. The LG G4 is the flagship that was launched in 2015, and there are still many users who have this mobile because they bought it as a high-end, high-quality mobile, and it is still a quality mobile in 2017.

When in Spain?

Currently, the update for the LG G4 to Android 7.0 Nougat, is already available in Poland, where one of the main nuclei of engineers from LG is located, and also from other manufacturers such as Samsung. However, the logical thing is that the update reaches the rest of the countries imminently.

Thus, it is possible that the update arrives in Spain already in July, or in any case, in August. Android 7.0 Nougat would be the last version of the operating system to which the LG G4 would update. Android O is a version that is not even available yet, and the LG G4 was launched in 2015, so it is very likely that it will no longer update to Android O. However, whoever will already receive the official update Android 7.0 Nougat is good news for users who had this high-end smartphone.
