Yesterday it was known that phablets Samsung Galaxy Note 4 they were beginning to receive the update of their operating system based on Android Marshmallow. The firmware used is that of Poland, so it is not specifically in Spain. This does not mean that it does not include the language español since this is the case and, therefore, by changing this in the configuration process, the new operating system (which does not lack the TouchWiz customization) can be handled in a regular way and completely translated. By the way, the specific model with which the ROM is compatible is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910C). If your terminal is any other, you should not follow the steps in this tutorial.

Before doing anything, and as we always recommend, it is essential to perform a Backup of the data that is stored in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, since in this way you are sure that it will not be lost under any circumstances. Furthermore, the sole responsibility for following the steps rests with the user himself. Without further ado we indicate what has to be done to enjoy Android Marshmallow (6.0.1) on the phablet we are talking about.

What has to be done

The first thing is to get the firmware in question, something that is done in this link. In addition, it is necessary to use the tool Odin, who here it downloads without problems. Now, you must do exactly what we indicate without skipping absolutely anything and in the order that we indicate:

  • Unzip the file ZIP which contains the new Android 6.0.1 version for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4

  • Run the app Odin en the computer to continue with the installation

  • Restart the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Download mode, for which you have to turn on by simultaneously pressing the hardware buttons Home + Power + Volume Down

  • Connect the phablet to the computer using the USB cable original

  • Add the firmware with the new Android version to the Odin section called AP / PDA

  • Make sure the Re-partition option is NOT selected

  • Push the button Home and be patient. When everything is over the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will restart and you will be able to use Android 6.0.1 without problems
