Thanks to the efforts of the Android community, and especially that of XDA Developers we are in front of the first GCam port for the Asus Zenfone 6.
Before there were big problems to use this app on phones like the Zenfone 6 because its new 48MP of the main camera gave problems, but now even with this huge amount of megapixels we can use the GCam with the Zenfone 6 ... Even with HDR +! This being the first smartphone to have HDR + with 48MP.
These are the options that we can do from the GCam if this application is installed are the following:

- Shoot in RAW
- Portrait mode
- Record a video
- Photobooth
- Timelapse
- Night mode
As you can see we have HDR +, we can record video or shoot in RAW and other interesting options such as timelapse or night mode, so we can replace the default camera app of our Zenfone 6 with the GCam, and possibly we will see improvement in the camera. All this also with the ability to control the retractable camera.
