No innovation
It is very likely that the Google Pixel 2 XL is a mobile with zero innovation. It does not seem very logical that companies like Apple and Google, which should be very innovative, are going to end 2017 having presented mobiles that simply have the news that other manufacturers had already presented since 2016.
The Google Pixel 2 XL won't even feature a dual camera. We ourselves have stated that a dual camera is not better than a single camera, but rather the opposite. However, in the case of the Google Pixel 2 XL it seems to be more of a lack of innovation than simply the fact that they believe that single cameras are better. A single camera doesn't necessarily have to be better either. By integrating two cameras with the same quality as a single camera, you get a higher quality camera. Of course, the cost will be higher. Mobile phones are more expensive, but not because they have better components, but because users continue to buy mobiles although prices are increasingly expensive.
The design of the Google Pixel 2 XL is not very innovative either, very similar to the Google Pixel 2, with a glass top section, and a metallic design. The only novelty of the Google Pixel 2 XL is that it will be available in two colors, one version will be completely black, and the other version will be multicolored: the metal section will be white, the glass section will be black, and it will count. with an orange button.
Display without bezels?
However, at least the Google Pixel 2 XL would have a display without bezels. It would not be like this in the case of the Google Pixel 2, which will be a smartphone with a more standard design, but it would be in the case of the Google Pixel 2 XL, which will be a mobile more similar to the current iPhone X, Galaxy S8 and LG V30. In fact, the mobile should look like the LG V30, as it is manufactured by LG. Although the truth is that the Google Pixel 2 XL and Google Pixel 2 look similar and are manufactured by LG and HTC, respectively, so it looks more like a Google design. Because the design would be from Google, and it would not be simply a mobile based on the LG V30, we cannot even say that the mobile would have a screen without bezels. It seems logical that this should be the case, since the price of the smartphone will also be more expensive.
